I was tired of having to wash my favorite tops after just one or two wears. The constant laundering was ruining their texture, color, and fit. Sweat and deodorant stains were unavoidable, but not cleaning them wasn't an option either.

About two years ago, while putting my sweater in the dry cleaning bag yet again, I had a lightbulb moment. I said to myself, "I wish I had an armpit sock!" I could wash the armpit sock instead of my sweater, letting me wear my favorite pieces again while saving money on dry cleaning and protecting them from wear-and-tear.

I went to Amazon to find one... it didn't exist. I searched Google... still nothing.

I thought: if I need this and it solves a real problem for me, maybe it will for others too. So I set out to create the Armpit Sock.
